Rui Mota Pinto is an internationally acclaimed wedding planner and creative visionary known for transforming weddings into deeply personal and immersive experiences. With a philosophy rooted in storytelling, Rui approaches every celebration as “a book of love” — uniquely crafted with emotion, character, and individuality. Drawing inspiration from travel, theatre, the sea, and the artistry of Cirque du Soleil, his work blends creativity and imagination to create weddings that are both visually stunning and emotionally meaningful.
Beginning his journey in the wedding industry at the age of 19, Rui later pursued specialized wedding planning certification in New York City and went on to launch several innovative concepts including PopUp Weddings, Tejo Weddings, Wedding Advise, and LAB BrideToBe by Rui Mota Pinto. An award-winning industry leader with 21 international recognitions, he is also a member of the National Wedding Council and the only Portuguese professional to serve as a jury member for an international wedding certification body. Alongside his creative work, Rui actively mentors wedding planners, consults for venues and hospitality professionals, and serves as Portugal Ambassador for the international solidarity initiative Two + Us Project.
