As the Head of Marketing & Brand, Rajeev is currently engaged in a fierce tussle with the biggies of Indian Trucking, for mindshare battle and market share ramp up for his challenger brand.


Prior to that, in his 28 years career, he has steered various brand building assignments at TATA, TOYOTA, LEXUS, DAIHATSU, Eureka Forbes and also worked at Blue Star, Modi Xerox and TNS Automotive, an MNC market research firm.


The out-of- box marketing initiatives launched and nurtured into strong brand properties at Mahindra like Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards, MPOWER Management Development Program for nextgen of customers with IIM, Ahmedabad as Knowledge partner, Saarthi Abhiyaan Truck Drivers’ Daughters Scholarship program have built a strong customer connect for the challenger brand and won the brand several awards and accolades.


Rajeev has been honored with the coveted award, ‘50 Most Talented CMOs of India’, in 2013. And in 2014, the World Marketing Congress has conferred the Brand Excellence Award on Mahindra Truck and Bus Division for its innovative marketing initiatives. The brand has won the Commercial Vehicle of the Year Award in 2017, which is the biggest awards in Commercial Vehicle business. The “Guarantees Campaign”, featuring Ajay Devgn as the Celebrity Presenter played a vital role in building market presence for the new product series, Mahindra BLAZO and was instrumental in clinching the award as well.


On the personal front, he lives in Mumbai with his family – wife Blanche, a home maker and daughter, Nikita who is interning in social media at one of the reputed advertising agency. He is a nature lover, a keen wildlife enthusiast and a passionate, amateur photographer. And if not marketing trucks, Rajeev would like to devote himself to tiger conservation and photography. His other interests are music, movies and social media.
