What's in D Name Live

After graduating from Swansea university in Uk, I started my first restaurant called Whatsindname, a one of a kind restrobar in Kolkata. Which was there for 9 years, in the mean time What’s in d name Live was started in the year 2017, with our first concert being Armin Van Burren Live in Kolkata. The reason I started this brand was because I was travelling to Goa for a popular music festival and on the flight I realized I know most of the people and everyone was going for the same festival. That’s when I realized why can’t I start this in Kolkata. Biggest show and the most challenging one we did till date was Salman Khans the Dabaang tour. It took us 14 months to execute it right from planning to conceptualizing it. The other shows that we did were the Arijit Singh show with Insider, the Ap Dhillon show, Lucky Ali, Bpraak, Jubin Nautyal, Vishal Mishra etc . Recently we did the lounges for the Karan aujla concert as well. We are east Indias biggest concert company with our recent event of Bryan Adams, which saw 17k people turn up, grossing the largest revenues. Our biggest challenge was to start the concert culture in our city, as big scale shows in the city usually were free to public show in the city. The biggest advantage of our makers is that, the Kolkata market is not only just one city based market, it caters to the whole region, ie Kolkata Durgapur Siliguri, bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, ranchi, Jamshedpur, Patna, Darjeeling even parts of sikkim. Going forward we would like to provide the region with more high quality shows. We are also on the verge of opening our own state of the art concert arena in Kolkata.
And the Biggest high will always be pulling off the dabaang tour with the biggest superstar Salman Khan and other actors. Also when we got the Ap Dhillon show 3 days before the show day since delhi show got cancelled and in 3 days we made it a full house.
