As the Chief Marketing Officer of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd, Pratik is responsible for creating and accelerating the organization’s marketing & growth strategy. He leads the organization’s vision of becoming the world’s leading vacation ownership company and redefining the way families holiday in India.
His unique skills in marketing and passion for creativity and storytelling along with his rich understanding of digital consumer trends have enabled him to build brands like Times of India, Gaana, Cricbuzz, MX Player, ETMoney, Times Internet, Airtel, and Yatra in his previous roles.
He is a focused, result-oriented, and high-energy leader who is always curious to learn and deliver positive outcomes which led him to be honoured with the ‘100 Most Influential Marketing Leaders in the World’ Awards in 2016. With over two and a half decades of work experience, he is someone who thrives on challenges, thinks long term, and drives objectives with a keen eye on results while ensuring a balance between flexibility and agility.
As an award-winning professional and a Wharton Business School alumnus, Pratik is proficient at handling business and strategic issues. He has also been an entrepreneur running his own media and content creation company. He was previously a Member of the Advisory Board of Ad:tech India, Director on the Board of Bennett Broadcasting and Distribution Services, Acuate (Cricbuzz), and Times Content Ltd, and is currently a Member of the Mahindra Group Executive Brand & Customer Experience Council.
He had joined Mahindra Holidays at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 when the world had come to a standstill. To capture the anticipated trend of revenge tourism, he led his team hands-on with a differentiated marketing strategy to deliver a 2x growth in the last couple of years.
