Jacques-Olivier Broner

GM (Rouge Division)

Hopscotch France

Jacques-Olivier Broner has led many lives.

First, he was a professional drummer, performing with rock & jazz artists at the mere age of 14.

Then, after graduating from the leading European business school, HEC, he took his music industry career in a different direction by setting up an independent production & publishing company.

Later, he joined Epic (Sony Music) as Marketing Director, coordinated the European marketing of none other than Michael Jackson, and within a few years became Deputy General Manager of Universal Music France where he was responsible for managing the careers of major artists.

At 30 he founded rouge, the revolutionary communication agency, considered a pioneer for creative and agnostic campaigns which proposed storytelling and brand content solutions ahead of its time.

He eventually sold rouge to the first non-Anglo-Saxon global PR group and served as their General Manager until the distinct beat of entrepreneurial freedom called to him once more.

Today, Jacques-Olivier accompanies brands, businesses leaders and high-profile personalities on their communication strategies, in a manner that is refreshingly free of restraints or models.
