Currently serving as AVP – Group Brand Marketing at Donear Group, he leads marketing efforts across Donear, GBTLtd. and OCM, driving brand strategy for NeoStretch, Donear Suitings, Grado (formerly Grasim Suitings), OCM, Mayur, Graviera, Ferrara Italian Luxury, Ferrino Mizzoni, Moda Biella Italy, Lanificio Corleone, Eurico, and Dcot Retail. His leadership and disruptive marketing strategies continue to redefine the positioning of these legacy brands in the global fashion and lifestyle industry.
Aakash has been at the forefront of brand innovation at Donear Group, spearheading the launch of NeoStretch and breaking conventional marketing norms with “Freedom to Move,” a pioneering music single released under Donear Studios. This initiative marked the inception of Donear Studios as a creative powerhouse, seamlessly integrating brands with compelling storytelling and entertainment and has won the group 17 Marketing Awards in 2024.
Before joining Donear Group, Aakash played a pivotal role in Experiential Marketing at The Times of India Group. As Head of Experiential Marketing at Worldwide Media, he transformed brand engagement through large-scale IPs like Filmfare Awards and campaigns for globally renowned brands like Filmfare, Femina, Hello!, BBC TopGear, Lonely Planet India, GoodHomes, Trends, BBC GoodFood, and Grazia, setting new industry benchmarks in media, entertainment, and cultural branding.
His journey began in the consumer goods sector, where he shaped Euro Tiles’ brand identity and communication strategies as a Brand Manager. Aakash’s career has evolved with bold innovation, strategic creativity and leadership, positioning him as a trailblazer in global brand marketing and communication.
